Sealion

Sealion is one of the main protagonists in the Diplodicus & Sealion series, alongside his partner Diplodicus. Calm, kind, and full of common sense, he is often the voice of reason in a world that has gone completely bonkers. Friendly and endlessly curious, Sealion loves exploring the forest, spotting unusual plants, and chatting with squirrels. It is where he feels most at home, and yes, he probably has a favourite tree.

Sealion is sensible and thoughtful. He cares deeply about nature, loves the forest, and treats it with respect, which is why he strongly dislikes Rabbit and Mole’s destructive plans. Kind and logical, he can think and act quickly when things go wrong, although many of the more complex problems are ultimately solved by Diplodicus. He is generally mild mannered and cheerful, often seeing the positives in situations and very rarely getting angry.

Appearance

Sealion is a grey sea lion with light grey cheeks and a light grey tummy. He has six whiskers on his cheeks and a bright red tongue.

Personality

Sealion is a rather posh, very British sea lion who would much rather choose a very long word when a much shorter one would have done just splendiferously.

Role

Sealion’s role in the stories is to act as Diplodicus’ best friend and companion. They go everywhere and do everything together.
