The Monkey Moo

The Monkey Moo is an ancient and highly powerful spirit who appears only when summoned by the Ritual of Kambalana, performed at exactly midnight beneath the brightest moon. He claims to have travelled across time and interdimensional space, and his arrival is always accompanied by dramatic light, noise, and a strong sense of cosmic importance.

The Monkey Moo grants wishes based not on what is spoken aloud, but on the final thought imagined by the summoner before the ritual is completed — a rule which has led to mixed results and at least one very unfortunate outcome.

Appearance

The Monkey Moo assumes the appearance of an ordinary monkey. With brown fur, creamy white skin and a pink nose.

Personality

The Monkey Moo is calm, confident, and quietly judgemental. He appears fair but unforgiving, rewarding kindness and thoughtfulness while showing little patience for foolishness or selfish behaviour.

Role

The Monkey Moo serves as a magical catalyst within the story, briefly intervening to resolve the central conflict before vanishing as suddenly as he appeared.
