Peg Leg Pengie

Peg Leg Pengie is a pirate penguin and an old friend of Diplodicus & Sealion. He captains his own icy domain near the North Pole and has a deep love of treasure, seafaring tales, and dramatic pirate greetings.

Though he only appears briefly, Pengie is warm-hearted, loyal, and always pleased to see his friends arrive safely after a long voyage. He enjoys a bit of pirate bluster, but beneath the bravado he is friendly, grateful, and good company.

Appearance

Peg Leg Pengie is a black and white penguin with a yellow beak. Despite his name he does not have a peg leg!

Personality

Peg Leg Pengie speaks in full pirate style, complete with hearty greetings, nautical phrases, and the occasional dramatic flourish. He enjoys leaning into his role as a fearsome sea captain, even when the situation doesn’t strictly require it.

Role

Peg Leg Pengie’s role in the stories is to act as a friendly destination and occasional catalyst for adventure, giving Diplodicus & Sealion a reason to set sail and explore beyond the forest.
